Roy did the shagging with Elizabeth.

Ugh. What kind of perverted mind comes up with that storyline?

There is an Archers fan forum where they are referred to as scriptwrongers...

I recognised Jasper Carrot's voice the other day, playing the part of a resident at The Laurels. His daughter was in it a few years ago, playing city-girl-moved-to-the-country Hayley. She left after Roy did the shagging with Elizabeth.

Is Pru still at The Laurels? - played (I believe in 1 episode) by Judi Dench way back in the mists of time

Am I imagining it, or did that same daughter play one of the Bennett Sisters in the most wonderful televisual feast Pride & Prejudice, which made Colin Firth a household name?

Edit: An off-by-two error: she played Maria Lucas, sister of Charlotte, who married the remarkably boring Mr. Collins.

Lucy Davis also played Dawn in The Office

When Roy isn't doing the shagging with Elizabeth or working for Adil at Grey Gables, his close friend Ian Pepperell runs a Thee Pubbe in Ringwood.

"overhaul" it, or you can ride it.  (Jerome K Jerome)

It does seem to be ramping up a bit from a very flat patch.
George could get murdered and dumped in pig slurry.
Home Farm is heading for an industrial tribunal with Adam's neck on the block.
The bloody electric charging station will hopefully disappear up its own electrons soon.
Oliver could be on course to hiring a hit man to take out Adil (although Freddie seems to after a new career)
Too many angry people - breathe & relax.

Susan is going to get a slap for being so bloody stupid about the missing glasses.

George Grundy is 17? That makes me feel old.
