Didn't twitterwebs-based SCIENCE prove conclusively that there's no one day for flying ants a couple of years back?  (AIUI they're locally synchronised by the weather conditions.)

Not seen any here in Middle Earth.  We're still on those annoying little black fly things.

No one day but it seems to have bothered some Sarf Londonton Big Bat Ball Game players today, I see.
