Audax Cymru

I've had a query about how to acquire a Cymru Audax jersey from someone who has ridden 10 different Welsh events this year.  Does anyone know who sells these?  Are there any requirements, such as the ride must be over 200km (I don't know what the events were) or that the route sheets had to be in Welsh, or whatever?

Bear in mind that this person isn't a member of AUK.  That might be another qualification.

Dave Lewis used to take orders.  He probably still does.  I'm pretty sure there wouldn't be a qualification requirement, but there may well be a wait until he gets sufficient numbers.

I asked Dave this very question on Saturday

he is indeed the man to ask, and if we can get some orders together before christmas he'll sort it out. No minimum but I suppose that the more the merrier.

I'm interested.

I'll ask him what the options are.

Do you consider yourself Welsh or part-Welsh?

My mother was born there but, other than that and going on holiday to Harlech every summer, I've got no real connection with Wales, I don't feel very Welsh at all and wouldn't want to be classed as a Plastic Taff :)

I consider myself to be 1/8 Welsh, 3/8 German and 1/2 English.  With a hint of Maltese.

Do you have chips or rice or go 1/2 and 1/2?

There's not a formal qualification, as far as I know

Living in Wales I'd go for a shirt, but when I was riding a lot in Wales even though living in England I'd have been comfortable wearing one.

I suppose that if you feel sufficiently entitled to wear one as to want to buy one, that's a good enough reason ;)

The qualification that Dave set originally was
1.  To live in Wales and ride an audax anywhere.
or
2.  To live anywhere and ride a Welsh audax.

You had to ride a SR series in Wales to qualify

I boughta jersey from Dave and gave him the deposit cheque for a gamex jacket and tights a few years ago, and I don't think he's put an order in since!  I'd ike another jersey now I think - mine is getting a bit tired.
