I'm going to attempt the Epic route. Haven't done any training so hoping to wing it by eating well the night before and taking an easy pace. If it's seems to much I'll divert on to the shorter route.
The Mendips was where I did my only 100mile ride when I was considerably younger, from Bristol where I lived then to Taunton and back so it'll be a bit nostalgic doing such a long ride again there on Sunday.
There are quite a few people from work doing this ride, and some from my local club, Chippenham Wheelers, so I shouldn't be short of company.
