I bought a pair of Shamals in 1996 (1995 models IIRC) and it's about time I stripped and regreased the hubs before this season's time trials - I haven't done any maintenance on them yet!
The Campagnolo PDFs don't give a size for the bearings, only a part number. The Shamal hubs are basically Record hubs from the 8-speed era (early-mid 90s). After a lot of digging in archived forum posts I think I have got them narrowed down to this:
Front hub (HB-RE008) 3/16"
Rear hub LHS (FH-RE006) 1/4"
Rear hub RHS (FH-RE004) 7/32"
Just wondering if anybody can confirm or deny this before I order some packets from simplybearings.
(Modern Campagnolo hubs are much more user-friendly - 5/32" for everything!)
