stop putting cameras away while still in bracket mode
Also; check bracket mode before shooting.

Pardon me while I have a bit of a cackle (rueful). That's exactly what I didn't do either before shooting an event on a new camera ~10 years ago. Ruined about half the shots before I cottoned on.

Make sure full resolution RAW is set. Because you might have been out with half sized jpg the last time...

And don't forget to reset the ISO to auto, so you don't take half the wedding with it set on 6400.

I'll add:
(a) Make sure there's an SD card in the camera before you go out. This has happened enough times (>=2) that I keep an SD card in my wallet, so I suppose I should add
(b) Don't go out without your wallet

Check that you’ve picked up the right memory card wallet

1. I have three, one with CF for the Nikon, one with SD for the Olympus (and the second Nikon Slot) and one with micro SD for the Drone (and an SD adapter)
