Easier than I dared hope
« on: 26 May, 2008, 11:24:48 am »
I use a Sony "Network Walkman" for music.  The software to download music supplied by Sony is "Connect", but Sony have stopped supporting the "Connect" store where one can buy music.   So I've transferred my allegience to iTunes.  I bought a couple of tracks, which I could play using the iTunes software - but how to transfer them to the Walkman?

I found the directory where iTunes had stored the music, then used "Import" in "Connect" to load the music into the Connect Library, where it went straight onto the Walkman.

Anyone else found anything computer-related to be really trivial and easy?

Yes, I was given an ipod shuffle the other day by a friend who's upgrading.  I plugged it in, ready for a an hours' struggle with alternatives to iTunes (it's a principle thing).  And then a dialogue came up saying 'Would you like to manage this iPod with WinAmp?' :)
