Yes, but GREEN?!  I'm old enough to remember the wonderfully talented but horribly injured Aleck Jeffrey (though probably not how to spell his name!).

Alick Jeffrey - I saw him at the very end of his career in the early 1970s, playing for Lincoln City. I'm sure he also played a few games for Gainsborough Trinity. He was distinctly portly by that stage, but here was no mistaking his talent. If one of his passes went astray, it was always the intended recipient who got the blame - "Wake up! He's three moves ahead of you!". `

Are you travelling to the away game? If so, I shall direct some 'good natured' banter at you from my perch amongst the home faithful.

I will also be at Griffin park so you can direct some banter in my direction.

We always loose at the new Wembley :-\

I agree on the green, Peter, but I'll take the result !! I probably saw Alick Jeffrey play (I was going to matches in the late 60's) but can't remember any of them.

Unfortunately I won't be there for either match. Have a pint for me on any of the corners of Griffin  Park. I have no illusions about our ability to negotiate play-offs. Even with Uwe at the helm we're very likely to succumb to our usual end of season vertigo. Such is the lot of  a Div 3 team supporter. Keepin' it real.  ;)

You have me to thank for the equaliser. I logged on to check the score and they scored.  ;D

There you go again. Another coffee. We switched on the radio when it was 2-2 in the penalties.

ICA. Banter thrown in the general direction of Brentford fans, players (bottling twat that Jonathan Douglas is) and match officials.

3-1 and you f***ed it up, 3-1 and you f***ed it up  ;D

3-3 and we f***ed it up  :'(

Come on Yeovil!

I've only just recovered from the emotional rollercoaster.
Mmm, Yeovil. Their goalkeeper looks very good and from what I saw of t'other match their central defenders are pretty well organised. Having said that we should be up to the task - and it's a home match  ;) Then again it's the play-offs and "We are Brentford".

As my father (born and raised in Brentford) says, "Brentford bounce between the third and forth divisions" so what are they doing in the third divission playoffs ???

Throw some friendly banter your way next season?
