I don't normally come here to talk about my fettles, as I have the Wobbly Workshop thread for the interesting stuff.
However, I'm catching up on jobs, so I came here to mention that:
Since using my small Mantis 2 stroke rotovator at the weekend, I found it wasn't running well, so I've cleaned the filters (air & fuel) and added grease to the worm gear drive. I used it again yesterday, and it's running alot better.
I've ordered a service kit so the fillters, etc. can be replaced next time.
Today I have cleared the 'potting shed' - a lean-to shed/greenhouse that 'borrows' the house and a garden wall in it's construction. I added fold-down bike racks so the Grandsons' bikes can live in there, rearranged the benches to give more useable storage, and refixed the door. I reused a shower door when I biult it, but bodged the pivot as I lost a couple of parts (a self tapping screw and a 5mm x 25mm steel rod that acts as one of the pivots. The door fell off last year, and in looking for bolts to adapt for the steel rod, I happened across the original missing parts!
