Portraits at Finish by Charlotte

In case it’s not obvious, Charlotte is at finish and doing portraits of riders and bikes.  From hall go right down first corridor and she is second door on left. You don’t have to have successfully finished to get your portrait.

I was offered a portrait in 2013 but I was so gutted at not finishing I didn't get one.

This time, despite not doing the full distance again, I think I shall.

Her favourite policeman has his one from last time, when he was a finisher, and this year, when he's volunteering at a control, on his Instragram wotsit. He definitely looks more haggard in the first.

Alas I had to shed that one at Louth as it could stand up on its own. My RED yacf jersey is at Brampton where I didn't get to so I'm in a boring old blue dhb jersey.

Yes, the black and whites look much more like the zombies I saw at control!

To judge from her own stare – about a quarter-mile when we arrived around 02:00 – she wasn’t going to be lifting Fatpot Larrington anywhere until she'd had about 12 hours kip ;D
