That looks fabulous, Juliet.  Very, very nice.

Can I touch your head tomorrow night?  :D

Doing a fair impression of my former colleague: Director,  film-maker and stand up comedian Timandra Harkness!

Looks good.

Head-touching is encouraged! :)

(I spent much of the weekend stroking my own head.  Fuzzy!)

I remember the first time I had my hair cut short - it felt weird.  Fuzzy and like it belonged to someone else...

Remember it'll grow back.

Are you going to shave it or close trim?

If its trim use a pubic hair trimmer, much shorter and less plucking of hairs and doesn't cut the skin.  After this you can shave but I would recomend oil over foam, and use quality disposable razors two or three passes on the whole head and then replace the razor.  After three cm swipe rinse the blade out well getting all the hair out.  I think its better to use leg hair disposables and try not to use excessive preasure.

Sorry if I'm teaching you to suck eggs but its advice that I wish was given to me when I first started shaving my head.

Lynx - I have clippers on order.  "Shave" is an overstatement - think it was initially about #1 but now a little longer.

There does seem to be general approval, so I might keep it now I'm past the initial shock :)   Much nicer for cycling!  Although my head got v chilly when outside overnight at the weekend.

Very nice, Juliet!

Is this the right place to reveal that someone on a forum not far from here covets my beard?

Should I join (temporarily) the Infidels and allow this person their wishes?

While I would say that Juliet could suit hair like Medusa's (should this be in the secret crush thread, d'oh!), and while she still looks fab with the shaven head, I liked the hair.  :P

It takes blood and guts to be this cool but I'm still just a cliché.

If she's still got it, perhaps she'll send it to you ;D

If you sign up with Capital Radio to have your head shaved on Friday you stand a 1 in a hundred chance of winning a trip to Mauritius, and they give £100 to charity.

To Baldly Go To  - Capital 95.8

Tempted to sign up. I have a number 1 normally, so going totally bald doesn't seem to bad.

Bit far to go for me. Mauritius, as well.
There's no vibrations, but wait.
