I took this photo at the height of the manic phase on Friday night when the crowd was 6 to 7 deep at the bar   :



We closed about 5 & a half hours early on Saturday afternoon when the beer ran out despite an emergency top-up from the local Deeside Brewery. More than 90 beers (I treied all of them   ) polished off in record time by thirsty Aberdonian punters  

The most popular beer seemed to be the 10% Orkney Dark Island Reserve, even at £5 per pint.

I was there thursday and friday. Tried to come over a couple of times but people kept talking to me and when I turned around no pingus. I was wearing a bright red endura jacket so definately not in the photo.

My favourite was Liath Fàil.

I tried the dark island reserve before. Definate hauf and a hauf thing going on. When I got home I decided that cycling was probably not a good idea.

I think you need to get yourself a business trip to London in August so you can go to the Great British Beer Festival, Awfers
