Anyone got a chewy bar recipe>?

I have no idea what you call them; those oat-meally, chocolate-chippy chewy bars that you can snack on at any time.

Just wondering if anyone has a super home made version I can crib? Am a bit bored of shovelling boxes of these things into a trolley at the supermarket - there must be a better way.

Make flapjacks and add raisins to the recipe.

Quartered glace cherries and dedicated coconut are my choice for adding to flapjack. Mine used to be too crumbly so started tamping it down with the back of a spoon while still hot.

I've not made these but they have been recommended.
