Sturmey Archer booklets
« on: 07 March, 2020, 04:16:05 pm »
I picked up a booklet for a SA TF or TFB 2 Speed Hub and another for the K, KS & KSW 3 Speed in a pop up bookshop today.
They appear to be originals and in reasonable condition. They show broken down views with part numbers and cost of parts in old money, gear charts and other stuff. Interestingly, a 1935 indicator chain cost the same as a 1950's 'Lucky' bag of mixed sweets for those who have lived through that bit of history!  :)
Once I'd finished haggling for my books they were free. Has anybody got an interest in vintage bike bits and would like to have them?
I'll post to you and you can put a donation in a dog charity or Barnardos box if you wish.

Presents for tarpaulin Dave   ;D . I would find them interesting but they may be helpful to our forum hub gear specialists  :)

I did think of giving them you but I'm not sure if you can read  ;D

I don't think that Tarpaulin Dave is still riding. I haven't seen his bike in town for a long, long while and I am sure that he wouldn't understand them!

Is there a special forum space for hub gear specialists or vintage bike enthusiasts?

I wonder if his health has failed as he has never looked after his diabetes.
