Wonderfully Wessex 300 - 6th July 2019

That was a fine outing. First time in a year I've gone over 200km.
A "relatively" gentle reintroduction. Great route, mostly nice quiet smooth lanes avoiding any sharp climbs. Good to see all the usual suspects.

Many thanks to postie and his clan. The food at the arrivee was outstading. I ate so much that I snubbed the dinner I was offered when I got home. 
All cooked by his wife and served to us by his son.

I'll ride 300km for that apple crumble any day.

Yes, one can truly say that the Sloth crumbled at the finish.
Thanks again to the Whitehead family for looking after us so well , the feast awaiting us at the arrivee really was superb. A great route on a lovely day and thanks also to the group I rode with for making it such a special day. Highly recommended to those who have not ridden this event.
