Actually, it is rocket science.

I thought you were a southpaw until I saw the mirror writing on the box behind you. So what is it, a Fender?

I dunno, has no markings but the friend who gave it to me as loads of guitars. Sadly I know little about these things, I thought it rude to ask lol.

Don't worry about it ;D

Quote from: Nicked from the interweb
A tour manager comes across the guitarist and bass player fighting at the side of the stage and pulls them apart asking what the problem was.

"That bastard detuned one of the strings on my bass", says the bass player, "And we're on stage in five minutes."
"So what's the problem?", asks the tour manager.
"He won't tell me which string", said the Bassist.

Can you do a pic of the metal plate that joins the neck to the body, and the back of the tuning things??
It looks like a Fender copy of some kind.

Some sort of P-bass copy probably. Nice sunburst, I've got a late 70s Precision that looks similar to that.

Looks like a cheap generic copy I'm afraid, possibly made of plywood. Strange not to have any kind of logo on the headstock though.

I think it might be, the plate is blank as are the tuning things. But I ain't complaining. Looks and feels lovely to be honest, and sounded quite good when he played. Well as good as bass can sound when it's played solo lol

Grow your fingers a bit longer - it will help!

Me with my bass just after I bought it 3 or 4 years ago. It's a Dean "Edge 4" I nearly went for the 5 string but that would be way too poncey!

Those wonderful norks are never far from my thoughts, oh yeah!
