Logarithmic or golden ratio spiral geared steering linkage.

So I’ve got this very simple idea for a cam’s lever to provide a progressive steering linkage. This is morphing into using spiral gear pairs based on those logarithmic spiral gears.

It’s all making my head hurt, but I am beginning to understand why it’s not been done before. That is to say, if it is possible, it isn’t at all simple.

I’m thinking of going for a lie down so that I don’t think about it any more.
For every complex problem in the world, there is a simple and easily understood solution that’s wrong.
