Laptop with long battery life

Looking for a laptop to bit of typing and surfing. 

Look for a fast charge and long battery life. As I can't have the charger with me.  Seems that the charging times from flat seem not to be in the specs.

Aldi offering one with 6 hr battery life, doesn't give charge time:

Tempted to try a chrome book from Argos and see what they are like. Wonder if the money back guarantee is available.

Chrome books are great for surfing and apps you can use with cloud storage.
Mrs R has one, fitted it with an SD card, works well.
