WTF, Adobe.

Can't seem to find a way to banish hints&ads except temporarily by clicking the radio button.

Short of a facetious answer of "change to Affinity Photo", I'm stuck for a helpful response, if its really not in the program preferences.  I'm afraid I gave up on Adobe for photo stuff a decade ago, due to Lightroom being abysmally slow, and constantly grinding to a total halt (unless I went for the subscription option, which I think is a dirty trick).  Much happier with Capture One, although they are now pushing for subscriptions.

It's a minor annoyance, but an annoyance nonetheless. It would be worse having to get used to another program (though thanks for the suggestions); I just don't have the time these days. If it ever goes subscription though, I'm gone.

(Will probably end up making time after all.)

Go to Edit>Preferences>Adobe Partner Services and uncheck all the boxes.
