I am riding the 'phil & friends' classic 150km route, with over 2600m of climbing, establishes the ride as the UK's very own 'etape'. The route includes the fearsome Peak District climbs of Holme Moss, Winnats Pass and Monsal Head and, at the same time as treating riders to some stunning scenery.
I am going up on the Sat & camping somewhere or other. If anyone wants to car-share with me they would be welcome. I am leaving Stowmarket in Suffolk at about 11am on the sat and have a bike rack that can take up to 3 bikes. The return may be late Sunday night or 1st thing Monday morning.
