I've just worked out what it is that's tripping my freaky switch with the baby quail.

They make a sound exactly like the mice at my previous abode.

Today I 'ave mostly been makin' a quailarium:

It's a proper brooder cage with an array of heat lamps to make sure we keep our little guests warm.
