Saw him ride in the NI TT at Dundrod in the 60s on an M.V. Agusta. First time I smelt castor oil lube - magical. I remember that day every time I smell it even now.

I met him at a classic bike weekend at Donnington Park in about 1986. His riding was just so smooooth.
