Barakta appears to be going to a wedding, so I've been organised and booked myself a lightweight pitch.  Mentioning it here will hopefully remind me that I've done so nearer the time :)

I'll have increased my normal 400 yard trek to about 4000 miles so getting there might be a little awkward.  Sorry guys!

I'm more than likely to be there commissairing the grass track racing. I won't be camping, as I live only marginally further away from the Knavesmire than Karla (about 1.2km!).

As the BHPC are racing on the Sunday, I'm contemplating strategies for transporting camping kit by Mildly Inappropriate Bike...

Noted.  I was thinking more in terms of investigating whether barakta's bananananana bags fit the bike.

Dangly bike-spaces may be a more significant issue.  An experimental off-peak trip from Mordor Central to Mordor International may be prudent...

Kim, due to the unfeasibility of tandem transport on local trains, we are likely to be driving to a suitable spot in York, should you need baggage transport.

So who is going? Due to building work being done at home I have not booked but things are becoming clearer.

I'm going to be around on the Saturday, look for the eejit in the British Cycling commissaire get up at the kids' grass track racing - there's probably only two of us, I'm the taller and uglier one!!
Please don't distract me *during* a race though, I lose count of the number of laps the kids have done and I'd hate to make them do extra!!!

I did the "Early Bird" booking, put YACF in the relevant bit.  Health not good so not going to get there. Don't have a physical ticket but, on Email, was told I am booked in. Anybody want to take my booking?
pm me and I'll respond Tuesday, probably late evening.

I’ll be there both days. Possibly doing the Easingwold or more likely Stamford Bridge rides on Saturday on the new recumbent and manning a table or two on Sunday’s saddlebag sale flogging off my old DF bits and bobs. I won’t know any of the YACF forumites, but if you see someone on a shiny new red ICE Sprint, it may well be me, so please say hello!

As ever, I'll not be camping due to having a nice cosy house a few miles from the rally - drop me a line if emergency warmth, shelter, loan of tents, or tea are required :)

Kids are away at their dad's, and I'm waiting in on Saturday for a rescheduled delivery of a new fridge freezer but I'm sure I'll show my face at some point.

HK and I will be atop Ventoux on the weekend but we'll get back to York for another Rally eventually. Have fun.

I've got a luggage strategy and a train strategy, so I should be there.  Plan is to ride around in circles with the BHPC at the University on Sunday, and other than the traditional Wacky Races Naburn pub ride on Saturday, I don't have any specific plans.

CrinklyAunty, CrinklyHound and I are planning to be there on Saturday morning.

It is the Audax Summer arrow weekend so I think some of those will be along at the end of their rides (well Deano said he would be).

I need to test my bivvy kit at some point soon so I might be back on the Saturday evening to try it out.

I'll be taking a couple of days to ride there. Camping near Doncaster the first night and then riding to York on the Trans Penine Trail.
