numpty PS2 question
« on: 26 March, 2009, 09:12:47 am »
Yesterday I bought a s/h Sony 8MB memory card to go in our recently acquired (also s/h) Playstation 2. The system recognises it but when I go into browser it only reports 122kB free despite being "empty". Is it borked or is there something else I should do?

Is there an option to format the card? I can't remember & the PS2 is at home.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

you can browse the ps2 card if you switch the ps2 on without a disc in.
think you can also format it too

Browsing is OK. It's a s/h card so I deleted a few old items but as I wrote in my OP it's only reporting 122kB free so games won't save.

I'll look for a format option.

Can't see a format option anywhere. I'll take it back to the shop.
