Does anyone else suffer from geoEarWorms?

Whenever I go anywhere near Waterloo bridge/station, a certain Kinks song lodges itself firmly in my brains.

Whenever I do the Rural South audax (Hampshire), I have to put up with several hours of Winchester Cathedral.

...and I find that those two are together a terrible earworm, if you put One Song To The Tune Of Another.

Not so much an ear worm, but I was plagued this morning by ISIRTA's 'I've Got A Ferret Living Up My Nose'

At least it's not like last week when I had a crocodile.

This one has been haunting me on and off all year.

It's years since I heard it .

Apparently Solitaire's the only game in town. And every road that takes him, takes him down.

I'm not yet 30 and I've got Neil Sedaka on the brain. Lawks a-mercy.

My sister sent me this, a global infection from the antipodes.

Bitch. This is a kind of term of affection in my family
As now it wont go away. How come after 30 years I can still remember the words to every verse?

Last night I bizarrely had the Venturas breaking into Hawaii Five-O every time I pulled out to overtake a line of traffic.
This may well help me through future grim commutes :)

Oh crikey, I really suffer from this, don't I? :-\

This morning, I was struck by how lucky I was with a tailwind and th changes of the traffic lights favouring my progress in most cases, so Kylie started off with 'I Should Be So Lucky'. In contrast to fboab's earworm, the fact that I know very few of the words made this particularly unpleasant. Fortunately, that morphed into 'Dreaming' by Blondie, which was better.

Then I hit the traffic, and a recurrent song reappeared: Little Boxes by Pete Seeger. It's actually about urban sprawl, but it applies to the heap of cars on the road too.

Little boxes made of ticky-tacky...there's a red one and a green one and a blue one and a yellow one. And they're all made out of ticky-tacky and they all look just the same

This morning I suffered, and suffered badly.

See, I saw a Yellow Ribble, and I couldn't help thinking of Tony Orlando & Dawn.

And now you can't help it, either :demon:

It occurred to me belatedly that the Yellow Ribble also sparked off a bit of http://www.youtube.com/v/did2PTV3UTE&rel=1 in with Dawn. An unholy mashup :o
