Celebrating my ninja central heating fettling skillz.

House was cold this morning, digital thermostat had a blank display. Hmm. Fitted new batteries, no joy. Found over ride switch, got house tolerably warm. Looked up replacement stats on interweb, saw pricer, felt unwell. Turned off heating, went to Science Museum.

Got home, dissected digital thermostat with trusty Opinel. Found corroded battery contact. Cleaned. Reassembled. The thermostat, she lives, for I am a fettling god.

I've just booked a week in Devon at the place recommended by Peli & Woolly last May. We're going in April and provided I get in, we should get the rail tickets for £15 per person each way (Southend - Totnes).

Bobb, of this parish, was stunned into silence at the pub on the Essex Christmas Pootle the other day at a perfectly innocent conversation between Annie and myself regarding the possibility of licking custard off my spotted dick. I really couldn't understand what it was that flummoxed him so.

That remark was totally innocent. I think I make more mistakes when I am tired. I have just picked myself up off the floor after laughing, coughing, choking and then doing it all over again.

The chocolates in question are in my bottom drawer, not mine as such but the spare ones that house all the presents, goodies and things time has forgotten.

Honestly chaps...... haven't laughed this much since Tuesday.

Annie is obviously a lady of many qualities , I've just been admiring the photos she posted of herself, in frilly knickers and with a teddy and whip. Then I come over here and find her causing more mayhem...
