Thinking about LE who is not outside, and Annie who is dripping enough already.

Ermmmm, dripping you say?

May I refer the lovely Lady to the quote she made some time before-

Dripping on the chair after an 45 mins of intervals on the turbo.  Watching the river rise and waiting for the council to let me know if they are going to issue sandbags.

 ;) :-*

Aha, of course. ;)

Right now I am eating my breakfast, after a 2 hour gym session, before heading out with the dogs.  I feel 10 years younger, it is great. :)

If that were true every time you said it, you'd feel about 6 years old by now.

Have you been a good girl?

But of course, well apart from a few naughty words between 3-4pm and some thoughts that might be considered less than healthy.  Does that count??

Relaxing after a gentle (120W or so for 40 mins with 15 mins warm up and 5 cool down) turbo session, and trying to decide what Hummers would make of the fact that my physiotherapist cupped me yesterday.

Best go have a bath now.  The cupping has left me rather sore.

I've done those at about 200W in the past.  280W is well out my league.  I'm being gentle at the moment to build back up and hopefully not bugger my knee.

but as we found out, 280W at over 100kgs isnt as quick up hills as your 200W... ;D

I did the power to weight ratio calc and based on those numbers (and conveniently ignoring bike weight), we come out about the same.

I need to lose some weight!  ;D

I felt quite pushed at the start of our hilly ride tbh, and less so towards the end.  I suspect doing lots of audax has trained endurance much more than power.  I'm hoping to do a bit more work on power this year.
