Ripping DVDs onto memory stick
« on: 29 May, 2008, 01:39:04 pm »
Is there some software available that will allow me to rip DVDs that I have purchased and save them on to a memory stick or similar so that I can watch them at leisure on a PC (or an EEE pc in the future)?  I appreciate that I could probably illegally download stuff (emule?) but would rather save the hassle and rip stuff I have already.  Currently the home PC is running XP, so must be windows compliant.

Either use handbrake (as already suggested) or use dd (dd for windows) and then use VLC to watch the iso created...
I feel like Captain Kirk, on a brand new planet every day, a little like King Kong on top of the Empire State

There's also AutoGK (Auto Gordian Knot).
Actually, it is rocket science.
