It seems that either nobody knows the answer to my previous question, or else nobody cares that both bands' drummers, Grant Hart and Pete Gill, are gay, so let's think of another...

Pete Gill gay?  I never knew that, and I'm a Saxon fan.  I'm impressed that someone could put up with the world of Heavy Metal and be out.  Good on him

Tho he did work with the Glitterband....

I know Elton Dean lent his first name to Reg Dwight, and Spooky Tooth's Luther Grosvenor became known as Ariel Bender when in Mott The Hoople and that Bat For Lashes is not Natasha Khan's real name so I'm thinking along pseudonymous lines here.

Not having ever heard of Michael Brecker, Wild Beasts or Michael Shrieve, however, almost certainly means I am this: barking up the wrong Hitler.

IIRC he didn't come out until after he'd left Motorbonce.

Malvina Reynolds did a song called "Song In My Pocket"

What, she did another one apart from Little Boxes? Oh. No wonder I didn't get it.

Considering any two of the list should give you it. Very simple really. Could have included lots of others in the list.

It's all very well saying consider any two on the list, but there's only one I know anything about - Bat For Lashes.

Wild guess: they've all duetted with Scott Walker?

Records that celebrate a very famous artist?

Sounds like a good answer - though Jackie Wilson Said should really be credited to Van Morrison, right?
