Rutland Cycling are having a seasonal clear out of ex-demo Dahon folders (amongst other stuff) on thebay.

Some of the prices look attractive - 500 quid for an MU SL?

Thanks Dave,

My B-i-L is looking for a Dahon folder and that's useful.

My pleasure, Phil!

Seem to have quite a choice of model.

Yes - they had the XL at £400 & still have one at £480, but they are all ex-demo with some (light I guess) damage - scratches etc.

They are only 15 miles from us so I asked if I could pop to their warehouse to have a look at the bikes, but no response from them, which is v disappointing.

Still hoping work will come through with cycle scheme - Zyro launch today with their 2010 Dahon range, so should also have clear idea of new 2010 bike prices soon.

It'll probably ride better than many £500 road bikes - but for the sake of your posterior change the saddle.

Ah well, if reckons 500 quid saving ain't worth a few scratches (which on a folder will "appear" on a new one within a week!), then can clearly afford full price!

Not such a big saving, but there was a Cadenza 8 going for £349,  I nearly hit the buy it now button.  Fortunately I hesitated, and discovered that he who hesitates is £349 better off!
