At £575, no chance. They’ve morphed from expensive but good kit suppliers, with kit made in Switzerland (my first bib shirts were Assos in the days of leather pads) to outsourcing manufacture to cheap Eastern European countries (Lithuania, Roumania) and selling to mamils at frankly ludicrous prices. Even Gore Shakedry is nearly half that price.

It does look expensive, but it’s designed for ‘your winter training missions’ rather than just a bike ride! You could buy a Castelli Alpha Jacket and Jersey or Idro (shakedry) for less
