By the way, time and creative juices permitting, I'm toying with the idea of tagging on a yacf MEMWNS cap order to Tomsk's eventual ACME jersey order.

More Italian and stylish than that.  It's la dolce vita at lunchtime sitting outside the Viper watching the world go by.

All that time you could have been riding your bike getting in shape for a couple of Welsh Bumps.....sheesh  ;D

I'm only jealous though, I sit at my desk watch F**k All go by.

You make a valid point but lunch is a sacred thing out here in the provinces.

Bobb and I are only in this game for the posing outside cafes thing.

I need to work out how to get Audax Club Mid-Essex added to the list of clubs that you can specify for AUK club affiliation...

I have asked the membership secretary very politely if he can add us to the list of possible clubs.  If we are added then that means we will get an ACP number between now and PBP19

I didn't realise our legal dept. was already working on it :)

Yea, that's been done, and I see that ACME now has 11 Audax members accumulating 148 points (to date) and the 6-rider total is 114.  Don't look for ACME in the drop-down list of clubs at www.aukweb.net > Members > MyDetails - I've listed you as Audax Club Mid-Essex

I met Nick Hobbs of Blackmore Cycling Apparel today. He's happy to work with the ACME design as it stands and produce something for approval soon. There is a design fee which will have to be added onto the cost of the jersey, but which will not be applied again if we use the same design for different garments: winter jersey, gilet etc.

There are two styles, a 1/4 zip 'sportive' jersey and a full-zip race version, more or less the same price, but a more relaxed cut for the former. Nick reckoned a large race-cut one was right for him, but could get a similar fit with an M 'sportive' - I'm also either M or L depending on cut. Also the option of an extra zipped pocket and under-arm mesh for the latter. At present they use a company in Poland, but are moving towards UK manufacturing with a Leicester based firm. The price will go up a bit because of this, but the lead-times should come down. We're looking at low-mid £50s. An order of over 25 gets about a £5 reduction in unit cost - I'm happy to bear the cost of extras to sell to new recruits/at events etc. We surely won't all get the right size, sight unseen, either...

I'll work on a b&w logo to use on brevet cards, using the same font as the jerseys.

Next question: ACME caps??

Nice one Tomsk!  Does the £50ish per shirt include the design fee?

I'd be well up for ACME or MEMWNS caps.

Talk to huggy about money as there is potentially some cash in his coffers.

Yes, sizing is as per their own kit - another small difference I've just recalled is that the race jersey has stretchy lycra cuffs to the sleeves, the sportive is just plain polyester. Both are a very lightweight fabric, but feel like good quality - we could go for a heavier version, but perhaps that's just too much choice...decisions, decisions?

Clicky link to Blackmore Cycling Apparel if you'd like to see some of their standard offer of kit.

Just to say, I am still keen on the full length zip. I used my Tiptree Velo 1/4 Zip one on the weekend and even in those conditions I was looking for more zip at times....sometimes you've got to feel the wind in your chest hair!

Tomsk did the prices match up to the price list I published on the ACME miscellany thread last week, before the one off design cost is added on?

Prices on the website are based on their Polish supplier, up to £10 more for British-Made, probably. That's still less than AC Hackney's 'Hackney GT' jerseys [which are also locally sourced]. TBA, as they say...
