Over the last few weeks I've posted lots of questions related to my bike build. It's the first time I've built a bike up from scratch, I've learned loads from it, and despite a crisis of confidence at the end when I had it checked over by the LBS to check I had built something safe to ride, I did it solo. Solo that is apart from all the helpful advice and answers from people on YACF.
So I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have helped me get this far.
Here she is after a 46km shake down ride (of which the first 20K was into a Dutch headwind):
I've done just over 60k so far, and aside from the wrist/hand discomfort mentioned in another thread, it's been amazing. So light, so smooth, so quiet. After a decade riding a Brompton, it's such a change.
Thank you everyone!
Ride safe.
