Graeme has a challenger!

A priest, in long black cassock and wide black hat (which blows off his head) riding a small-wheeled folder, scalps some roadies out training, before opens the church doors and blesses the roadies. My first thought was electrickery but no, the only power involved is human and/or divine.

Going the wrong way round roundabouts, overtaking cars on the inside through ridiculously narrow gaps, cutting blind corners? And he survives! Sure signs that his guardian angel is alert.  O:-)

OK. I am no longer an atheist. That was God. Or Christ on a bike.

It is most satisfying to overtake fast boys whilst wearing 'unsuitable clothes' on an 'unsuitable' bike.

A nice, flappy, girlie floral print dress and flat handlebars FTW in my case.  :) ;D :demon:

I suspect HK on a Brompton (wearing lots of PINK would knock spots...

Amusing, and that was a very long descent. I was looking for an electric motor but saw none. I think the priest must have been relying on divine protection - or he'd been at the altar wine.

If you look closely, at one point the writing on the arm of the jersey he's wearing under his priest outfit becomes visible.  I suspect he's a ringer.  But still a nutjob.

Yes, his teamates do a good job of keeping him safe and making him look fast, with possibly a few handslings off camera.

I don't think priests have actually worn hats like that since the 1960s, have they?

It's generally making a statement, even if it's only 'I enjoy wearing traditional garb'...

Her bike is so "unsuitable" it even has the chain on the wrong side! Agree with the floppy dress and wide straw hat though. I missed a gem of a photo of one of my girls riding her mémé's french vintage 3 vitesses bicyclette dressed like that!
