Re safety glasses: I realised on Sunday that not only do they protect your eyes, they allow you more freedom to use the thing. Sunday I was cutting a piece of brass angle and the only easy way to do it sent ejecta straight into my face.  Bracing.
I've dusted off all those old bottles and set them up straight

And of course the Apollo was delivered yesterday and the today I went to Lidl to buy a bottle of milk and they had cordless rotary tools on sale at £12. Well it seemed rude not to so now I am the possesor of two rotary tools ! I might keep the cordless ones for light and clean inside work and use the mains powered one in the garage for cleaning rust of stuff and the like.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.
