I'm now using half a poundsaver hot water bottle on the front, and half a 9 cm by 66 cm reflective sticker that I found on the A38 at the rear, attached with poprivets.
The hot water bottle gets to within about 1 cm of the road, the sticker is a bit short, and there's a 10 cm gap
