Just a reminder, if you do book put YACF on your booking form.

why's  that then, are groups put together, be good to put some faces to the  names.

Exactly that.

We're booked, it will be great to meet you blodwyn! Keep an eye on train fares, it's still a bit early - they release the cheap ones 12 weeks before. Grand central don't require bikes to be booked, Virgin do require reservations.

I may have to drop out this year due to poverty and potential homelessness.

Just a reminder to any who are intending to travel by train to York. The advance fares are now within the 90 day time schedule so are on sale.

Okay, plans have crystallised:  Barakta is presenting at a conference in Edinburgh that weekend, so I've cancelled the car and booked a lightweight pitch and some train tickets.

Achilles, lungs and weather permitting I'll be doing the FNRttC to Hull on the Friday night.

Discussed today at Long Itch, I have just looked at rail ticket prices.   It is pretty much unlikely that we will be there.

Refund due from Gas people: I have just booked tickets. Travel up on the Thursday, back on Sunday. Kat, if your space is still on offer, let me know! Failing that, I will find a site, poss Naburn, for the Thurs night. I intend this to be a weekend of nothing strenuous---just need to let the demons evaporate.

I'll be coming to That York again, too.  I plan to be there all of Saturday, and Sunday morning.  Normally I would take the train but this time I shall be using infernal combustion because I'm under orders from LeeW to bring my inconveniently large bike for the BHPC display.

Camping a few miles outside York again in the hope of some clear skies.  But since cycle-camping is all I've ever done, my brain doesn't know what to do with all the extra space of a car.  I could bring a proper camping seat and my telephoto lens and everything!

I'm good at space filling: spare tent in case of malfunction; spare stove ditto; extra bedclothes; kettle; spare shoes; spare bike...

Steph - sorry, I thought I'd  answered before but clearly hadn't!  If your campsite is cancellable (or just summat like the weather is shite and you can't be arsed pitching!) you'd deffo be welcome here on the Thursday - Cubs are away so spare room available, so long as you can cope with lego booby-traps and teetering piles of books.  I finish work around 5-6ish on a thursday usually.
