It's what happens when Eastside meets Westside

It's close after baby due date, so not sure yet if I will make it. If I do, will just ride the 200km to half-way and back.

I will cheer you all on as you cross Marc Bolan's bridge near me (it could easily be fitted in en-route) - prizes given for most spectacular crash (just don't die on me!).

I could even be bribed to cause crashes with some Wacky Races style sabotage.....
Right! What's next?

Ooooh. That sounds like a daft idea.  I am in!

This is sounding dangerously as though I may have to pull my finger out and join ACH rather than merely think about it.

After all, I've got the beard and the fixer - will there be special points for sandals or rolled-up skinny jeans?

Do it John! Yours is a beard that seems to be permanently on even. Respect. For a few other ACH members they seem to go
on and off. Mine is now on. But might go off again.

My beard has been a constant presence for about the past twenty years, with a very short break around the (not-)millennium New Year when I removed it in a reasonably successful bid to confuse my then girlfriend.

Because its presence depends on nothing more than my continuing laziness, I think it's safe for at least the next twenty ...

If I'm not on holiday I'd be up for this (representing the Eastside...). Would have to be the 200 option as promised the GF I'd do Open House London if I wasn't away. I didn't promise I'd do both days of the weekend though!

I scratched my beard the other day and a piece of Nature Valley cereal bar fell out, followed by a crumpled 24-hr garage receipt.
