Not I!

Went spinning last night and plan on going again tomorrow morning. Plus Bodypump tomorrow evening. I did Bodypump last Wednesday and my rubbish newbie technique allied with overdoing stuff rather a lot left me in a sorry state!  I have recovered now and am ready to have another go. Huggy is an accomplished Bodypumper!

I'm going be in That London and need to be there again early Thursday morning, I know some of you do that regularly but I can't be sure of what time I'll be back so don't expect me out unfortunately, again!

Are we off to the Hurdlemakers this week? I will make my own way over there, as I will aim to get out of work a little early and get over to the Pub for some dinner, the menu looks pretty good  ;D

Hurdlemakers is ok for me  I guess I'll be there for about 9pm...

Nice trip over to the Hurdlemakers Arms last night. I went out via Hatfield Peverel over to North Hill. I did 3 climbs of North Hill (or most of it anyway), there seemed to be a large number of people riding up and down it last night.....nutters!

Oddly enough on one of the loops I suddenly thought this looks like Badger territory only to see one dart out across the road about 15 metres in front of me a few seconds later. I also spotted a fox just off the side of the road.

After 3 goes at TMNH I head for the pub as I had every intention of sampling the menu. I opted for the Chicken and Ribs which I have to say was excellent. I was piping hot and huge, I did not even manage the chips which I kindly shared with Tomsk after his arrival.

A pint of Wibblers Chocolate & Vanilla Porter on each end of 2 pints of Hop Monster meant the slight chill in the air was not an issue on the way home.

Top notch stuff!

I appear not to have broken myself at Bodypump last night, unlike last week.

;D Excellent...I would like to point out the Bodypump is indeed a Kiwi invention at this point!

Tomsk and I are likely to be doing Dick Turpins Day out next Wednesday so how would folk be about meeting up at the Compasses, I will likely be in a heap in the corner after 1 pint! Although it will be a happy heap as I will have completed my first RRtY  :smug:

The Compasses is the natural finish for DTDO, especially if you talk to the Perm Organiser nicely and he lets you turn left at Felsted  rather than continuing on to Gt Dunmow because you've probably ridden there in the morning (turning off at Bannister Green would be cheating).  You never know I may even be able to make it out next Wednesday  ::-)

^ I need a receipt from Dunmow to keep the powers-that-be happy, but I could send Tippers on ahead to get the first round and dinner order in  :D

18km via Bardfield Saling and Felsted, 23 via Dunmow.

Would love to meet up with you all there, but although I'm on the correct side of The Pond, I'll be Up North.

I notice on Teethgrinder's calendar that on Sat the 28th Feb he's "Riding around Essex".

Anyone know what's going on with that? Are the YACF Essex massive going to go out and drag him around the lanes before buying him a massive feed up in one of our favourite hostelries?

Sadly, I will be in Northumberland on 28th, if he'd like a small spin to Berwick and back over the weekend.

Indeed he is... ;) ...and parts of Suffolk and Norfolk too.

I'm not sure how much to make public, but he's heading our way!

Oh bugger. I'll be away in HK for that weekend. Perhaps he'll come back later in the year!

Team Teethgrinder aren't publishing routes in advance, but the planner does show his hosts and Audaxes he's riding...next visit here is on 7th March.

I am at this moment (10:22 on Wednesday morning) intending to be riding this evening.  Either a direct raid on The Compasses about 8pm or a 7:30 start with the classic route via TMNH for a 9pm-ish arrival to meet the glorious DTDO-ers.

Sadly Gents it's unlikely I will be riding this evening, if anything I may meet you at The Compasses but that largely depends upon how long the builder takes of my time measuring up this evening!

7:30 at the roundabout for the gratuitous TMNH route, just the two of us for the Witham Peloton then
