Oh dear hugster  :'( indeed.

FORWARD PLANNING offers us the prospect of Colchester pubs, of which there are some unvisited GBG establishments.  Of course Colchester also offers some of us the prospect of train assistance.

Alternatively, if we look at some of the FORWARD PLANNING pubs we have missed recently the King Billy at Notley, the Hurdlemakers, or Witham pubs might suit the majority of folks.  The forecast says dry and 8oC.

King Billy or somewhere further West for psyclist and Tomsk.  It's about time Tomsk had an easier night

Thank you, I wouldn't miss the chance if the venue was a little further west.

I've noted that forward planning has Compasses at LG next Wednesday, so happy to attend either tomorrow, next week, or both!

Shall we settle on the King Billy, Notley for tomorrow evening then?  Clearly this will work well fr the Witham peloton.

Actually, I've just thought, there's also The Vine at Black Notley, I think they've just had a make over.

Count me out this week, chaps - Mrs Tomsk and I are bunking off for a short break. Back in time for the London Bike Show on Saturday - anyone else interested in going?

Well I'm in London tomorrow, but hoping to be back in time for whatever we decide on, though a local walk in to town does appeal...

Here's the beer list for tomorrow  http://www.chelmsfordbeerandciderfestivals.camra.org.uk/dl.php?id=49985

Its good as its free entry for CAMRA members, but it doesn't help me tick off the 48+ km ride I had in my training plan for tomorrow....   hmmm  ???

Regarding tomorrow evening, how does the Witham peloton feel about a slightly longer route to The Compasses using some lanes which perhaps don't get ridden very often?

Assuming the Witham peleton is taking the slightly longer route, what is the ETA ... 8:30pm?

More like 9:30 I'd say.  That's assuming we do take a longer route.

Assuming a 7:30 departure following that route with 49km to The Compasses it's more likely to be 9:45 (or later) arrival there  ::-)

Yes but its forecast to be pi55ing down with rain so we will go faster.  Anyhow, we don't have to take a longer route, its just a idea.
