A quick look tells me that Thursday this week is going to be wet during the day, but brighten up for the evening.

In light of that then, who's up for a ride out this week?

The wind will from the South again, so I guess our target will be Thirsk (or thereabouts) again.

From a brief discussion with CU and CA last night, we wondered about the possibility of a York to Thirsk if wind from the south is offering to help... what do you think, T?

Sounds like a plan.

Next week (if he is back and up to it) will be Scorton, COR, Copper Dragon and chips with Deano :)

I can't remember what time Tiermat's train usually gets in.... about quarter past 6, from memory?

usually, yes, 18:15, but I tend to hang around until 18:30 to allow people to get to us that have work and stuff to do :)

I may join you. Logistics and level of consciousness will be deciding factors. Should be able to make next week anyway.

It looks like the weather is doing the same as yesterday, cool(ish), wet start them brightens up (but no real sun to speak of) later, which makes it hot and muggy.

Ideal riding weather really :)

Sorry I'm out for tonight. Feeling tired and stupid and clumsy. Also Crusty is staying in to watch men with balls and I've hardly seen him for a fortnight. Requesting photos and a full RR Crinkles! Have fun  :)

Well that was just bloody brilliant.

We had four seasons in one day evening, beer, chips and giggles.

The only let down was the beer was cameron's Strongarm, one I am not overly keen on, but after a 5 mile dash @ ave 24mph it was welcome (I needed to get to the pub to order food before chef went home).

Well done to CA for getting riding through her food defecit and getting all the way there, and to the train station for the train home.

I mean what I said @ Busby Stoop R/B, no excuses next week, not even a note from your mum will let you off....

Shall we start the show of hands early, as a sweetener, Mrs T has said she will make her FAMOUS coffee cake....

What time will you arrive at the Pub in Scorton?

I may ride directly to the pub.

We should be there about 20:30.

Certainly need to be there before 21:00 as that is when they stop serving food.

For old time's sake this is the proposed route for Thursday:

Unless it chucks it down between now and tomorrow night, in which case we will do the other route.....

Probably not a good idea to bring your best bike, just a warning.  Do bring a sense of humour though :)

I'll be bringing my Dave Yates, regardless*. I don't think there's anything round there I haven't done on it.

*assuming LG doesn't pawn it in the next hour.

It's looking very unlikely that I'll be able to make this.

I have assorted things (handlebar bags, pumps etc.) to give to various people, so will endeavour to do so this weekend when I'm heading up north anyway.

Do you want me to act as courier?
