I dunno why, but I find this rather amusing:

Official Vote Leave bus lands parking ticket in Harrogate

Activists campaigning for the UK to leave the European Union had a shock this morning when their official ‘battle bus’ was given a parking ticket.

The distinctive, red Vote Leave vehicle was parked on one of the main roads through Harrogate town centre while activists handed out flyers.

Sign-carrying supporters of the leave campaign had barely been gone for half an hour when the vehicle received the ticket from a council parking enforcer...

You got that wrong, the bike should be locked to the sheffield stand that is by the drivers door so that they can't open it.  :demon:

Or, if possible, to the driver's door handle.

Alloy wheel.  Steel-o-flex.  Sheffield stand.

Just sayin'

"Police do not park on yellow lines" would be more newsworthy.

This morning, outside the office. One BMW blocks 6 parking spaces:

Surely you should have been the good samaritan,  found a key for one of the (resident) locks, and made their pride and joy safe via running it through the front wheel --> stand, so no nefarious scrote could make off with their pride and joy, which they had forgotten to secure... :demon:

[Edit: Kim FTW...]
I'd offer you some moral support - but I have questionable morals.

There's got to be some story behind that. It would take a ridiculous amount of determination to drive a car into that position. Did it fall from somewhere (but where?). Or is it just shopped?

The Tweet was from the tram operators in Manchester, announcing the reason for cancelled services as 'an abandoned car'.

Which is a bit odd as this happened in Birmingham .

That Standard article has no mention of a driver, just that the car was parking naughtily.

The Tweets don't mention the driver. My version of the article is headlined with the word Driver'.

Brummies.  They'll park anywhere.

The incident left hundreds of people who were piling into the city centre for the weekend Pride festival to walk or find alternative transport the last part of their journey.
So that's the story. It's a covert attack by the tactical squad of the straight rights-fattist front!

Sunday at the pub down the road. The car park is steeper than it looks in the photos. A car parked without the handbrake on rolled into a one day old Ferrari and shoved it over the grass into the trench and a little while later another car with handbrake off rolled into the ambulance (luckily the ambulance was just there as support for an organised cycling event).

I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.

All the time (and more) that it took me to eat a banananana and drink a can of Irn Bru this fud was stopped with the engine running and left indicator on within 5 seconds walk of legal parking.
