My Ischial Bursitis is back

My Ischial Bursitis is back. I have suffered with this for a few years and it has governed my saddle choice. Earlier this year I was offered a treatment with a series of injections which should have cure the problem. After another examination earlier this month I was told it had worked and I could return to using leather saddles.

Overjoyed at this I purchased four different leather saddles one for each of my bikes, I do silly things like this, the idea to break them in and in time find which would now suit me best.

Whilst riding the Brooks B17 Select yesterday I suddenly suffered an excruciating pain under my seat bone with a sensation of something bursting under my skin. Today I have found out the treatment was at best a temporary solution and has now made thing worse than before.

I am off to Scotland next week for a couple of weeks touring so it is back on with my old saddle and hope I can find a comfortable riding position.

Probably putting saddles on sale when I return.
Most people tip-toe through life hoping the make it safely to death.
