Nogorno-Kharabakh

I'm considering a trip to Nogorno-Kharabakh. Other than the challenging terrain, erratic driving and land mines, am I mad? There are very cheap flights out to Georgia on Wizz Air.

The FCO website says they "advise against all travel", but wikitravel is rather more circumspect, suggesting one can cross from Armenia in the South allowing you to get a visa in Xankəndi and make a nice round trip through the mountains leaving via the Kalbajar pass.

Any nuggets of wisdom on the forum?
