Better weather for the Mid Peak than the Dark, by the looks of it. I think this is my favourite of the Marple rides, with long steady climbs of Snake Pass, Kirkdale and Abney. Which reminds me - I've not looked at the route sheet - do we go up via Mompesson's Well again this year?
