CRM for small business
« on: 18 October, 2019, 10:13:43 am »
I'm looking at getting a CRM to replace the misc. collection of Excel, backs of envelopes and Outlook that we currently use.  Only half a dozen users at most but the ability to scale up would be good.

Any recommendations, or otherwise, from the YACF massive?

What features do you need? Quotes, stock, invoicing etc?

Quotes, pipeline, reporting I guess. Integration with Quickbooks, which is where invoicing happens, would be good.

Stock control is separate at present, but could be useful.

I've used Sage Act before but that's a bit too big and complex for my current role I think.

We've got the desktop version of Quickbooks

We have QBs desktop & have yet to find any CRM that integrates successfully. We use Zoho as well. It's far from ideal but it's better than several spreadsheets

I hated Zoho.  I've installed Agile (v. cheap, not intuitive to use) and Hubspot (much better) recently, both are the subscription model once you get past free sizes and features, or there's Suite CRM for an open source self-hosted option.
