...providing I can get a leave pass.

Having asked for a leave pass, I was reminded that we are away for a pre-Christmas weekend. You'll have to manage without the spreadsheet!  :(

With food sourced from a different venue of the Spice Cottage at Westbourne? From last time, we were able to bring our own drink into the curry house which was a splendid arrangement.

Can't commit as it's Mrs Blazer's birthday the following day.  Never say never but can't commit at this stage.

We are running at about 14 drinkers takers for the 20th and sampled the delights of the Woodmancote drinkers quarter last night.  :smug:

The venue for the curry will be the Spice Cottage in Westbourne but this will need to be confirmed.

Remember, with the Spice Cottage, we can bring in our own booze.

I can now confirm I'm able to be there on Saturday, although if I'm too late to get to Cosham I'll go to the Woodmancote directly.

Please note that we are not staying in the pub for the duration of the evening and will be departing to the nearby Spice Cottage in Westbourne.

Our ETA at the curry house will be 21:30ish.

Just to point out, the pub is the Woodmancote (for 7:30) before we go to the Spice Cottage.

It's also 6pm at the library so earlier than normal

Looking forward to meeting with you all.  Hope that some at least are 'compos mentis' still when I arrive.  Attending the meeting in Wimbledon has given me a new insight into what is meant by the word 'training'.

There was talk of a pre-ride preparation in the pub next door to the library at Cosham from 5pm ish.

'Training' is hard work and time is needed for recovery.  Since I was there using a horseless carriage I can confirm the food was very good...might have been a bit wasted on some of the riders there who seemed to be showing signs of drunkenness over training
