2008 totals

Bike 2151.5 miles, of which geared was 1614 and fixed was 537.5; run 185.95 km, swim 21000m. So that explains why I was slow and got fat: too much reliance on short sessions and commutes. That's my lowest bike mileage in years.

I'm pleased to discover that my running total (single fixed gear of 24"!) is just short of your cycling total. I am about to brave the garage to tot up the totals on my various bike computers. Swimming? I think it might be 50m.

I ran between train carriages, with the bike, and rode several miles in heavy rain.
