Been using TeamViewer for a while to support the aged parents and in laws. TV now thinks I am a business and now is limiting its use to about 20 sec of remote access. Are there any recommendations for alternatives? Free or cheap. Not sure I can really "justify" paying full whack for TeamViewer for the little amount it gets used.

Was half-thinking AnyDesk or Chrome Remote Desktop. The remote install needs to be "in-law" proof...

If Windows why not use the built in Remote Desktop?

My hunch is that it will be painful to set the MiL up - she is at the opposite end of the country and doesn't follow instruction at all in a linear fashion.

Windows Remote Assistance (Quick Assist) might be easier to setup. It is based on Remote Desktop.
