"The Mare of Easttown" on Sky/HBO.
This is extremely promising.
I wasn't too sure if I'd continue with it after the first episode.
I'm glad I did.

I watched the first 10 minutes of the first episode but... I dunno, maybe I just wasn't in the right mood for it. I keep hearing how good it is, though, so I'll give it another go when I'm feeling more receptive.

Inspired by the return of Inside No. 9, I watched an episode from the first series last night, A Quiet Night In.  Very clever and very funny.

Past now, but may be repeated, a PSB series "Australia in colour", a history of Australia through colourised early film and newsreel. Their "hostile environment" as part of the White Australia policy was eye-opening.

Handmaid's Tale S4 catching up on on All4 great. Except for the frequent ad breaks all criminally aimed at encouraging gambling. This society is just fucking rotten, to the core

Somewhat mitigated by Aretha, Carole King and The Dead. Explain to me, someone, why music from that era was soo great?

Time is a Killer on All4 (World).  Not the usual formulaic paint-by-numbers stuff.  They threaten to go Twin Peaks one Episode but then dial it back.

Floodland (Grenslanders - not sure why they translate it as "Floodland"), set on the Belgian/Dutch border and mostly in Flemish/Nederlands (I enjoy picking up on the difference in their accent).
